Better Outcomes for Physicians, Medical Groups, HMOs, ACOs and health insurance companies

Your Presciptions

Following the dismantling of key public health offices, including the CDC’s Office on Smoking and Health, a critical gap has emerged in tobacco treatment leadership. This site helps close that gap, collecting evidence-based information for nicotine users, clinicians, and medical leaders, the tools needed to make better quit attempts, navigate conflicting claims about harm reduction and optimize clinical and economic outcomes.

Why This Matters Now

The Big Picture on Nicotine and Public Health

Nicotine use is a global public health problem with over 1.3 billion tobacco users and more than 8 million deaths annually. In the U.S. alone, 490,000 people die each year from tobacco-related illnesses, which consume 8.3% of the healthcare budget.

Yet nicotine users and their doctors are navigating a politicized and fragmented information landscape. This site aims to provide the clarity and tools to help patients move toward better health by making safer choices about nicotine use and help doctors structure their practice to support them.
